Why do you need a portfolio website?

After this corona-virus breakdown, the post-corona world will never be the same as it used to be. Many articles have already discussed the post-corona situation entitled "New World". Although, that will not be a new world, but will be a different one. It is said that the post-corona world will be virtually dependant. Every possibilities, sectors, scopes, businesses will be moved to the virtual world. The market, you see today, will become an "Online Market", the office you work today will become a virtual office, may be hosted on Github

However, when this all will end, one will prospect who will adopt the new system of society very early. Since every system of society is assumed to move on the virtual world, the medium of expressing yourself will be your personal portfolio.

What is a portfolio?

A portfolio has various definition by different aspects, like from business aspect, A portfolio is a grouping of financial assets such as stocks, bonds, commodities, currencies and cash equivalents, as well as their fund counterparts, including mutual, exchange-traded and closed funds [1]

A personal portfolio is such a collection and show-off of your assets, projects, works, passions that you have done your lifetime. Making a personal portfolio, you have to start by creating a website.

Creating a Website? So that means I have to be web developer to write my portfolio?

For these cases, we web developers create, a content management system (CMS) website for personal services like your portfolio. You do not have to worry about web development, just use a CMS, and build your portfolio anytime!

What should be focused on your portfolio as an Engineer?

The principle focus on your portfolio should be the projects you have done. We engineering students, always do various projects, attend competitions, try different things, learn different things, but eventually after each semester, we move on to our new curiosity.

That is a great mistake to leave no trace of the work that you have done. In the future world, the job market may not take your live interview, but may judge you by seeing you portfolio. Why not start enriching your portfolio from today!
